Victor DuBray Jr., 80, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 16 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired concrete batchman for West Hawaii Concrete, Puuwaawaa Ranch hand, member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 745 and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Private services. Survived by wife, Carmen DuBray of Kailua-Kona; son, Victor (Korrie) DuBray III of LaGrande, Ore.; daughters, Victoria DuBray of Kailua-Kona, Deborah Dutra of Waimea and Vanessa (David) Crawford of Kailua-Kona; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mary Jane Leinaala Kurashige Cantor, 79, of Captain Cook died July 19 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in South Kona, she was a telephone switchboard operator and cafeteria worker.
